Pack for a Purpose
Turtle Beach House B&B is located on Bluff Beach, Isla Colon, the local Bluff school is a 10 minute walk from us. There are 19 students ages 6-13 years old who attend the school where there is one teacher and 1 classroom.
With our neighbors Gary and Betsy at The Humming Bird B&B, we will be providing much needed supplies for the school.
Our Local School
Resources at the school are very limited. Basic supplies like pencils and paper are a luxury for many of the children. The children are eager to learn and the lack of school supplies, not to mention water, decent toilets and playground equipment sometimes make this difficult.
